Recipe - Condensed Milk Swirl Slice

This super easy slice recipe makes a delicious family treat and bonus it’s an easy clean up as well.

A light and delicious cake mixed with chunks of chewy caramel topped with a luscious chocolate.

A great one to bulk make and freeze for another day.

Prep: 15 minute - Cooking: 25 minutes - Ready in: 40 minutes Makes: 37 Cost : $12.09 or 32c per serve



  • 1 tin Condensed Milk

  • 2 tablespoons Golden Syrup

  • 100 grams Butter

  • 1 packet Chocolate Cake mix

  • 125 grams Dark Chocolate


  1. Preheat oven to 180°

  2. Line a tray with baking paper

  3. In a pot add condensed milk, golden syrup and 60 grams of butter, stir over gentle heat 5-6 mins until thick caramel forms.

  4. Make chocolate cake as per instructions.

  5. Pour cake into tray, dollop spoonfuls of caramel on top of cake mix.

  6. Use skewer/knife to swirl caramel through, being careful not to over stir

  7. Bake 20-25 mins

  8. Place chocolate in bowl and melt in microwave for 1 min

  9. Pour Chocolate over slice and cook to cut
